Learning doesn't end when lessons finish. You can enjoy your time in London with your fellow course participants while also practising your English in a more relaxed manner
We arrange all the activities for you, and at least one staff member will usually attend social programme events. The walking tours are led by a professional guide. See a selection of photos from our 2023 social programme here .

Payments, changes and cancellations
Very occasionally, activities may change or be cancelled depending on the number of clients who wish to participate or weather. We'll tell you in advance if this happens.
Payment is made on the day of the event, usually at the venue. There is no charge for cancelled events.
Join tour guide Ian for a walking-tour of Paddington and Little Venice. Ian will talk about Paddington Bear, the history of Paddington Station and the nearby canal system, the discovery of penicillin, Royal births, and Alan Turing among many other things.

Join teacher Neil for a trip through the beautiful area of Kensington to a local Kensington pub.
Come and meet new course participants and network with fellow course participants and trainers. Enjoy a free drink and nibbles while practising your social English.
Join us for a walking tour of this area and visit places connected to the film ‘Notting Hill’. Many music stars have lived and worked in this area including The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and Bob Marley. Home to Portobello Road Market.
